Team Building Drumming

When we drum together, we work as a team ONE beat at a time!

Making music requires Teamwork.

You can tell a GREAT team by the quality of music they produce!

Afrobeat’s team building drumming delivers an unforgettable impact.

No one can resist the invitation of the drum. To the delight and surprise of your team, EVERYONE is invited to take up an African drum of their own and join in.

Within minutes, Afrobeat have everyone beating out rhythms of unity, creating musical harmony and an outstanding theatrical performance! With every beat, enthusiasm and excitement build as participants begin to sense the power of their individual rhythmic contributions! Before they know it, the unsuspecting group have become performers rather than spectators and the group dynamic and team spirit begin to emerge.

The #1 Team Building Activity to beat all others!

When looking for team building ideas, African Drumming is probably NOT the first thing that comes to mind! But you might be surprised to learn that Group Drumming has evolved as one of the most popular team building activities of all time!

Interactive Drumming is recognised as a cutting-edge tool for building teams and has gained surprising momentum as people realise its limitless applications and benefits, flexibility to resonate with diverse audiences and contexts, and its successful applications in the workplace, community, and organisations.

And is it any wonder, when 'Drumming together' is simple, fun, accessible, and effective?

Afrobeat’s team building drumming enables teams to learn together, develop teamwork and create momentum for sustainable organisational change. A natural organiser and energiser, rhythm and music-making provide powerful metaphors for teamwork that result in group synergy, a shared purpose, and a common goal.

Because ‘drumming together’ requires the input of ALL team members to produce music, it highlights the interdependence of the team along with the importance of diversity within the team for its success.

Afrobeat creates an atmosphere of fun, success, and being part of something special while participants learn the art of working together without words, building dynamic sounds and rhythmic layers traditional to African Music. The experience of drumming together helps remove social barriers in a non-intimidating, and fun atmosphere. Participants relax, gain enthusiasm and the necessary confidence to fully participate in other group activities.
